Catholics should avoid all crude or rude language

Catholics should completely avoid crude or rude language, because they are called to set an example for others.

Evangelization is not only about convincing people of the truth of the traditional Catholic faith, it is also about bearing witness to that truth through one’s actions and behavior.

1 Peter 2:12: “Keep your conduct honorable among the Gentiles, so that, though they speak against you as evildoers, they may, by observing your good works, glorify God on the day of His visitation.”

Ephesians 4:29: “Let no corrupt talk come out of your mouth, but only what is good for building up the faith, so that it may give grace to those who hear it.”

Colossians 3:8: “But now, you also, put away all these things: anger, wrath, malice, slander, and shameful words from your mouth.”

Titus 2:6-8: “Exhort likewise the young men to be self-controlled. Show yourself, in all things, a model of good works; in doctrine, integrity, seriousness; let your speech be sound, irreproachable, so that the opponent may be ashamed, having nothing evil to say about us.”
